If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi there!

So I have a few problems with my car apparently, and I'm not sure if they are related. Sorry if this is a long post!

It started with my ABS light going on. Took it to the shop and they said my abs wiring harness was broken, and i needed a new one. I had them order one and replace it.

I also brought to their attention this knocking sound I feel is coming from the front of my car whenever I got over the slightest bump. They checked and said that both my suspension struts in the front were leaking. So I had those replaced as well.

I get my car back. Knocking sound is still there! And my abs light came on again about a week later (which disengages them as well. Its not flickering, its always on)
So after all that money I feel I'm back to square one.

When I called them they said they had noticed something wrong with the lateral arm of the suspension in the back of my car. (Which is weird since I still feel the sound is coming from the front) and that it will cost me 500 to fix parts and labour. I haven't got around to calling them that my abs light is back on.

Any ideas what could be going on?? This knocking sound is so noticeable but does not effect my control or how the car drives. Do you think anything is related?

Any advice or guesses are much appeciated!
Thanks

Forgot to mention its a 2010 genesis coupe with 115000 km

If ESC, speedo, ABS and other speed dependant systems don't work, the actual sensor or sensors need to be replaced.
My dealer wants $1100 for one front and one back while "cars.com" new service tool gives a fair price of 133-266 cost.
If only one light there is a ECU component somewhere- dealer code reader will see it or whare it may be that is why the only changed the wire and not the sensor (how can that go bad sort of thing.
