  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Yesterday my car tends to overheat a lot for about a month or so and I decided to add so coolant through the radiator cap and it took a lot but it went through at least a bottle and a little of another and it started completely fine I drive it a little and I turned the heater on it worked a little and then it stopped and pushed cold air and heat went up til I decided to put the car back together at home and then crank

Did the engine seize since you have been driving the car while the coolant overheated? Maybe this is why the car will no longer start as the engine may be seized? Need more info, and feel free to use a comma where appropriate - your post is difficult to read.

When I turned it on after that hour of putting everything away it cranked and it did (I’m guessing so because I’ve heard an engine seize before) but then it started working a little bit again

Wow I’m not sure about your car, but you should NEVER drive a car that is overheating. I’m surprised it lasted more than a week like that

Yeah, I'm Honestly surprised as well. But the car sounds like it runs fine now, I guess my head gasket blew.

You might look at your oil to see if it looks like a milkshake or the exhaust to see if white smoke is coming out. If you’re lucky, your thermostat went bad or possibly your water pump. But if you put that much in and you were overheating I’d be willing to bet you blew a head gasket. A busted head gasket will set you back about $1200-$1500. You might be able to get some Barr’s leak to plug it up but that’s a last ditch effort. If you don’t know what you’re doing, I’d have it towed to your mechanic tomorrow. DO NOT DRIVE IT until you get it figured out or you will damage something badly.

"Let's eat Grandma!" vs "Let's eat, Grandma!"

Punctuation matters.
