  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone installed additional driving lights on the front of the car? I'm thinking of adding additional lights up front that can used with the parking lights (or solo) since the driving lights (fogs) on the car can only be used when the headlights are on. They would be wired seperately from the existing lights (switch somewhere under the dash or in the ashtray area?).
Besides more light up front, if done right, it would be a nice addition to make the car a little more unique.
Any thoughts (or recommendations)?

Installing driving lights is tricky. You absolutely must have a solid base for the lights. Otherwise they will drive you crazy with their beam vibration.

The best installation I have seen is the Alaskan State Troopers. They mount driving lights on all their cruisers. They call them "Moose Lights."

I always liked the looks of driving lights though. I had Lucas Flamethrowers on my big Healey and Shelby GT350. Hardly ever used them.
