  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Adding powered subwoofer to Lexicon system

If anyone isn't looking at losing a bunch of space, just go this route

I have a Kicker in the back of my Vette and love it. I'll probably get one soon for the G70. Does it fit under the passenger seat or do you have it somewhere else? Did you need to buy an AMP for the Kicker, I did in the Vette, but would skip the AMP if I could in the G70.

I don't think anything fits under the passenger seat in these cars. Because the sub has to go in the trunk, I'm not sure that these ultracompact subs will work in the G70 - they are more suited for small, 2 seat cars where it's either right behind your seat (like in a Miata) or right over your shoulder (like in your Vette).

There are a number of good amplified "all in one" boxes now from Kicker and JL among others, but they will all go in the trunk and take up a significant chunk of your space.

Thank you, I'm taking to my audio guy and if he comes up with anything that goes under the seat or a different setup, I'll pass it along.
