  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Well I just called AEM inquiring about a Cold Air Intake for my 2010 Genesis Sedan I was told that their CAI is for the 2011 and 2012 Genesis Sedan. Now since I have a 2010 AEM can not confirm that it will work or fit as they have not test fitted a 2009-2010 only the 2011-2012.

I was asked if I was local to them (AEM) so they could test fit a 2010, but I do not live in CA.

AEM would like to hear from the owners of the 2010 and 2009 3.8 Genesis Sedan if we have a member this is local to the AEM headquarters in Hawthorne, California.

AEM has an online product Development page (follow this LINK) that the members here can list what year/engine displacement they have and submit a request online. It would also help if anyone that is local could pass by and see if they can look under the hood and test fit a CAI

I think both AEMs are for the 3.8L coupe, not the sedan - even though they pull up under the sedan. Look at the engine compartment photos on their website.

Yes the engine bay image that is listed on the "Sedan" page is an image of the coupe's engine bay and not the Sedans.

I hope that we have a member that lives close to AEM, so they can test the intake on a 2009 or 2010.
