I picked my car up on Saturday and have had a chance to spend a bit a couple hundred miles with it. My observations:
I'm very happy with my purchase, but I guess talk to any new car owner with a couple hundred miles on their car and they feel that way.
- This car is silky smooth (most of the time)
- The stereo is awesome
- This car is almost too fast for the handling; triple digit speeds come *very* quickly
- I can't tell if I love or hate adaptive cruise control (is there a way to completely turn it off?)
- Uh, how do you lock the glovebox? I don't have a "Key"; all I got was two proximity fobs
- I've yet to get my homelink working (with a Genie garage door opener). Has anyone else had problems programming it? This is actually my biggest issue. I spent an hour trying.
- Headlights are only so-so. The HIDs on the Acura TL I traded in better. I'd definitely like to change this.
- This car is faster than my old 99 Cobra
- I thought I'd hate the non-touch screen nav, but actually, it's easier to use than a touchscreen. I still have a long way to go on using the voice commands though.
