  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone experiment with trading out their stock sedan grille/grill with an aftermarket option? I've found a nice one (see links below) that i'm thinking about purchasing. I'd pull the trigger now but my adaptive cruise control is in the way, does anyone know if i can install adaptive cruise control sensors (currently on the outside of stock grille) behind the aftermarket?

I see the second link specifically says "without adaptive cruise control" Given that heavy rain or snow can block it from working I don't think I'd trust it behind the grill. If it did work, Genesis engineer probably would have put it there for protection.

Be patient. I'm sure a "Sport-type" grill for Adaptive CC will be a future offering by the aftermarket suppliers.

I don't know what that cover is made out of, but its 700 from the dealership. For a company to bring out a cost effective product for the consumer that is not a viable option.

Dude, I’ve been on the same hunt — matte black grille — and have come up with the same questions: will it work with the sensors on the inside? Any progress on this?

Sorry to resurrect this post, but I've wondered if you can "relocate" the speed sensor to somewhere else. I've seen some aftermarket grills which mount over the stock grill, but I know that will affect the speed sensor operation.

Has anyone found anything on the aftermarket recently?

Thanks in advance
