AMS Starts to explore a turbo kit for the Genesis Coupe 2.0T

Its turbo kit time!

Since Ivan had the turbo off we figured we would hand the manifold over to the engineering department here at AMS. One of the nice things about our shop is our ability to go from idea to prototype fairly quickly. We even have our own rapid prototype 3D printer to help the process along a bit.

Below are some of the preliminary CAD designs from the process. Once the engineers feel they have something they like it will then be fed into the 3D printer. From there a composite prototype is made to test fitment and design. If that goes well its off to production

and then I bet you in matters of month there going to have twin turbo kit out for the V6 or a supercharger. And then next thing you know AMS is going to be on a magazine with a 2.0T making 750 hp. -.-

Yall are the reason I am going to buy this car!!!! You guys did a lot of work with my friend's (Shaun) EVO VIII a few years ago when he was at Wyotech. I helped him finish it up and get it tuned in Atlanta.

When I get back from deployment in Iraq yall should have all the bugs worked out and I will have a new track edition to build with yalls parts!!!
