  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anybody have the Heads Up Display?

Never saw the need myself but some do it. You may want to check your state law. None allow the full windshield to be tinted.
Window Tint Laws in the USA: How Dark Can You Go?

Some states seem to crack down and check you.

I think he said in another thread that he's in SoCal, so legally you're not allowed to tint the windshield and the driver/front passenger windows should not be darker than 70% VLT. I've heard (from a sheriff friend) that most cops out here have bigger fish to fry than worry about your windshield tints, assuming you're not a dick to them.

I did mine for the heat rejection and boy does it make a big difference when I compare it to my brother's Q50S (no windshield tint and sides have lower heat rejection film). Heat soak will still be a thing if you leave the car out all day.

I did 50% and like it. Night driving is still good too.

As for the police having bigger fish to fry, that is correct and possibly why they stop you for excessive tint. Couple of weeks ago they stopped a driver and found 450 pounds of marijuana. Last week near here they stopped a woman for tint and found $1.2 million in cocaine.

Criminals can be so stupid.

Rule number one about breaking the law: Don't break the law 🤷‍♂️
