Just curious as to what the stock 18" V6 wheel weighs compared to some aftermarket wheels that I'm looking to get for the Genesis?

I just don't want to add unsprung weight to the car if possible?

Hoping they weigh the same or maybe less?

Thanks

According to Edmunds Inside line:
"Our Genesis V6 sedan rides on Dunlop SP Sport 5000M all-season tires, sized P235/50R18. Together with their 7.5 x 18-inch rims, each weighs 50.5 lbs on my garage scale."
According to tire rack the tire 235/50R18 weighs 27lbs. That 50.5-27 equals 23.5 lbs. for the rim alone. Obviously unscientific.

Thanks for the info!

Damm if that's correct the stock 18" wheel is pretty light!

The wheels that I'm looking at weigh 27lbs each?

I'd be adding 4lbs of unsprung weight to each side?

Hmm decisions decisions.......
