  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anybody know what brand the OEM HID low beam bulbs are?

Also a good bulbs but they are different then the Xenarc's:

5000k vs. 5500k

I just bought the Xenarc's and are installing them in the next day or two.

Let us know how it goes. Where are you located in FL by the way?

I'm just outside of Orlando in Winter Park. I had them installed at my dealer, stock bulbs are definitely Osram Xenarc (66140), here is a picture of them:

New bulbs are 66144CBI (Cool Blue Intense) 5500k, here is a couple quick pics I took this evening and I will post more soon as I can:

They produce a very bright white light with just a hint of blue when caught from the right angle. Most cars pulling up next to you have their headlights totally overpowered by yours and overhead streetlights are washed out. You can also see reflective street signs at a greater distance. I didn't measure it like initially intended, but it's safe to say your getting approximately 75' more visible light hitting the ground in front of you.
