Anyone participated JD Power elvauation?

Received a letter from J.D. Power asking me to participate in an evaluation of my Genesis.

They will even pay me $150 for my time.
But I have to do 5 online surveys in next 8 weeks, yes FiVE ! Geez...

I almost never take any survey which will last more than 3 minutes.

Anyone participated in JD Power auto survey?
Is it worth the time to take these long surveys?

yea, got a phone call... she said the first one will take 50 minutes !
I agreed to do it. We'll see.

I haven't done any of the online surveys yet. I'm at the same stage as you having just completed the initial phone interview. Tracey asked what cars I owned in the last five years. She also explained the survey was intended to help Hyundai with future products. First four surveys should deal with problems and the last should be about "things to like" about the car. That could be a long list!

Just got the same letter in the mail for the JD Power survey..was wondering if it was a scam of some type.

Did it seem like it was ok? Or should I just throw it out with the trash?

why do you think it's a scam?

i think you got the letter from JDPower.

Since Genesis is the brand new auto, i think they want more info on this one.

is yours V8 too?

I received the survey by mail and completed it. Took about 40 mins. I would say it's definitely valid, since it is a new model Hyundai wants feedback, positive or negative. I was just thinking I was not offered $100.00 or even a buck, we'll a buck not too much of an incentive in today's economy, yet better than nothing. Great opportunity to voice your wants, needs, concerns.

Unfortunately I can't particpate in JD surveys because my wife works for Turner Broadcasting which is a conflict of interest because of their businesses with car companies. So when they send the survey and the dollar.. I say thank you

Are there 2 different kind of JD Power survey?

$1 "simple" survey and $150 gift card "detail" survey ?

An update ... Another email from JDPA:
They expect me to answer six separate surveys over an approximate 8-week period ending in January. I will have four days to complete each survey except the last one, for which I will have eight days. I bet that all of us (taking the detailed survey) will get exactly the same. I hope that they publish their results when done.

Yea, i got an email too.

6 test in 8 weeks... Wow.

2 IQ test ^^
1 SSI test
2 DSA test
and one APEAL... I can even appeal at the end

Ha Ha... feel like taking a class here.

Just finished First survey.

Asking for any problems and over all grade.

I had only one minor irritation level of complaint out of hundreds questions, and gave Genesis super 10 out of 10 satisfaction grade !
