I would not hold my breath for any inconvenience compensation for a feature never officially date committed nor listed as standard equipment on the car.
Much of the hype came from the automotive press and then followed with constant moving goal posts. One would be best to assume the worse and realize that new tech will never be on time and is in reality outdated the moment it is released when the next big think is already being discussed.
As I said, just a guess based on what little information there is an some of the e-mail responses from Hyundai. If I was holding my breath, I'd be long gone by now.
I assume you mean the hype from the automotive press is because Hyundai said Genesis would have AA and ACP and dealers were pitching the technology to customers at one point, saying it would become available to the 2015 Genesis? While no one disputes technology changes, AA and ACP are platforms to convey information from your phone such as text messages, Google maps/navigation, and compatible apps. This is a powerful tool that isn't going to become obsolete in a year or two.
