Maybe compare what the NAV shows with what the Tesla app shows for the same geographic area?Questions, questions, questions...
So, I have the update. I can select Tesla stations in the nav filter. But when I do I get no Tesla results. I have turned off all other stations and turned on all the DCFC kW values and still no results. Also, I checked the tesla app and there are non-tesla vehicle stations (Adapter required) within 10 miles. Am I missing a toggle button?
Correct. The stations show as 325 kW (V4) chargers with non-Tesla access in Tesla and PlugShare. V1 and V2 chargers will not show as non-Tesla because of the communication protocol.Short answer is I don't know. Longer answer is remember we only have access to V3 and V4 chargers ... Not V1 / 2
I believe that Powered by Google is new. At least, I don’t recall seeing that before for search results. Google Maps images/photos are shown for the POIs as well.April update was pulled from the Canada site, though I am currently running it without any issues.
One thing I noticed: seems that search results are now "powered by google" (shows a Google Maps icon in the destination search bar and on destination results. Anyone can confirm if this is new? I was pretty sure it was HERE before...
Definitely new, and maybe not even tied to the update as I did the update right when it became available and some results that (I know) are only on Google and not the nav database didn't come up until the Google Maps icon started to show. I guess it is (finally) the Places API rollout!I believe that Powered by Google is new. At least, I don’t recall seeing that before for search results. I agree. Same crap with the Ford MME, they were full of false promises.ugh after waiting for a few weeks cause i missed the update before they paused it in canada, now the update site just shows "paused" . like...comeon.... we're supposed to get 2 a year, and they already skipped one and is late for the one after that. why is this so hard
