Armrest and cigarrette light mod?

I have a 2011 4.6 and have changed all lights to LEDs. I have noticed a very dull light peaking thru the cigarrette tray and in the lower armrest compartment. They add no noticable light. Has anyone changed these out to provide a brighter light?

I have not noticed the arm rest light. I will have to check that out when I have a chance. Does it look like it is suppose to illuminate the cup holder area?
 
It's inward facing inside of the armrest. It's blue in the front interior.
 
Should the arm rest storage light go out when shut? Hard to believe it remains on when closed.
