I just got a 2023 G70 Sport Prestige 3.3T RWD. Can anyone tell me why auto start stops before 10 minutes?

Do you mean the auto start/stop, or are you really asking about the remote start?I just got a 2023 G70 Sport Prestige 3.3T RWD. Can anyone tell me why auto start stops before 10 minutes?
Welcome. This topic has been moved out of the community lounge and into the Genesis G70 Technology Forum...I just got a 2023 G70 Sport Prestige 3.3T RWD. Can anyone tell me why auto start stops before 10 minutes?
Yes, with a max time of ten minutes for safety reasons.3.3t doesn't have Auto Stop/start. That was only present in the 2.0t. I guess Genny just said 3.3t will get crappy gas mileage no matter so no need to try and make it better....
Remote start duration is controllable in the app and infotainment, I think.
Maybe in the US. The manual shows like 30 minutes....Yes, with a max time of ten minutes for safety reasons.
I have seen where the max remote start duration was ten minutes, but the max continue to run after you leave the car (not started remotely) was thirty minutes. Are you sure you are not talking about that timeout instead of the remote start timeout?Maybe in the US. The manual shows like 30 minutes....
Incorrect.... Any 3.3T Sport Prestige has it in threre package. I use it all the time. There are anti car jackng features in the setup.3.3t doesn't have Auto Stop/start. Incorrect. Early years of the 3.3T do not have auto start/stop.Incorrect.... Any 3.3T Sport Prestige has it in threre package. I use it all the time. There are anti car jackng features in the setup.
Then you should be specific on years. What you said is misleading and false.Incorrect. Early years of the 3.3T do not have auto start/stop.
Maybe you should have stated years? "Any 3.3T Sport Prestige has it" tends to imply all years, and you're telling someone that knows they have one without it that they are wrong. Then you should be specific on years. What you said is misleading and false.
Your original post... not updated clarification.Maybe you should have stated years? "Any 3.3T Sport Prestige has it" tends to imply all years, and you're telling someone that knows they have one without it that they are wrong.
What at all was in any way misleading or false about my post?
"Early years of the 3.3T do not have auto start/stop."
Which original post? My other two posts in this thread are #2 and #8, and I stand by those, and post #10 does not clarify either of those.Your original post... not updated clarification.
Mr Megadeath post from today. Never said "you" did anything.Which original post? My other two posts in this thread are #2 and #8, and I stand by those, and post #10 does not clarify either of those.
Are you confusing me with someone else?
I'd say that you did in post 11, but clearly you're not going to own up to it.Mr Megadeath post from today. Never said "you" did anything.
I have never seen it in any 3.3t G70. It isn't in my 2023 G70. Didn't see it any of the 2019-2022 either.Mr Megadeath post from today. Never said "you" did anything.
You were right. It's the "Auto-shut off" is parked timer.I have seen where the max remote start duration was ten minutes, but the max continue to run after you leave the car (not started remotely) was thirty minutes. Are you sure you are not talking about that timeout instead of the remote start timeout?
