Bentley or Genesis?!?!

Had my bosses boyfriend walk in to work at the gym today and go, "Babe! Someone has a Bentley parked right next to you, who would drive a Bentley to the gym?"

I've also had numerous students at school comment on my "Benz" or "Bentley" that I'm driving.

Do any of you guys have any good stories of people not knowing what the Genesis is? And what they thought it was?

It's mostly a Bentley in my case. Many times.

I was at a place of business recently, asked to talk to the owner.
The man said, "He isn't here at the moment but I will call him".
He did and I heard him say, "hey Ray, there is a guy here driving a Bentley".
Funny for sure.

Was out shopping and as I headed back to my car a saw a man standing behind and to the left of the Genny staring at it. I asked him if everything was ok and he replied that he was just trying to figure out what make it was. I asked him to humor me and take a guess and he said its gotta be a Bentley or a Rolls Royce. Gotta love it

Over in Monaco, esp. next to the Casino, Bentley's are all over the place.

The Genny is much better looking.

I do not have the 'H' badge. I have the wing emblem on the rear. Debating putting the wings on the front as well. Steering wheel also has the wing emblem in the center.

Same here. The car came that way from the dealer that had it.
I was wondering if you had de-badged the Genesis logo.

My car came with the 'H' logo on. I debadged the ugly 'H' and put on the wings

I stopped in at the local Grainger a few months back. I parked within view of the main sales kiosk (they don't have normal checkouts). The guy who was helping me caught a glimpse of it while we were talking and he interrupts his own sentence with, "is that a frickin' BENTLEY?!" I see another guy who works there look at me with that "I know what it really is" face, so I told him the truth, then the other guy and I filled him in on what the Genesis is all about. Dude seemed to be a fan, maybe he was in the market.

Virtually every day in the Coupe, but almost never in the Sedan. I get into "What is that" type convos from time to time, but nowhere near the level of the old car.

It's a blessing.
