I proactively replace my Battery every 4 years on my Car. Usually I just buy a Die Hard, but apparently no Die Hard is made for my 2014 RSpec ..... What Kind and Brand of Battery should I get?
I have never seen a cheap AGM battery in the US. I suspect most all of them are made by Johnson Controls. Obviously, one must get the correct size.Use the proper AGM battery. Don't go cheap.
Group 49 H-8 is the AGM battery you require and they are available in all sorts of places from Auto Zone to Sam's Club, Walmart, Costco etc. and all have similar cranking amps (850-900).
Prices I found are Sam"s $169, Walmart $139, Auto Zone $193, DieHard $172, Interstate $290.
Johnson Controls makes batteries for Costco, Sam's, Walmart, Auto Zone Interstate and others.
Quite a price spread. Do you know if there is much difference in specs and construction? You don't always get what you pay for.

Contrary to popular belief most lead acid and AGM batteries sold in the Southern US states are manufactured mostly in Mexico with Johnson Controls making about 65% of them.

I got AGM battery from AutoZone. Car starts in a second at -6 F°.
No Sir! -- This is the problem that I am having... If I would have found one at Costco, I would not have even had to make this post. Try it yourself - Search for a 2014 RSpec 5.0 -- this is what you get.

I have a 2013 3.8 Tech which can't be much different than the 2014 5.0.
Here's what's listed for mine:
For some reason, Costco does not carry an H8 AGM battery. It's not a problem with just your 2014 R-SpecNo Sir! -- This is the problem that I am having... It turns out that they switched to a H9 size starting in 2014 for the 5.0 (same as the 2015 and I assume Genesis G80).These are the items Autozone carries for my 2014 Rspec....

Advance Auto Parts carries the battery:

It looks like you can get 25% discount if you purchase online for pickup at Advance Auto Parts. However, you may not find one in stock at a store near you (check several stores nearby), but they will notify you when they get one in at the store you selected if you are willing to wait.
Price is $192, and with 25% off it would be $144 plus tax and refundable core exchange charge.
On most of those batteries, there are two gas exhaust holes, one on each side, to be connected to the vent tube in the trunk (see current battery). Even though AGM batteries are completely sealed, it is for an emergency release of gas. Make sure you plug up the hole not being used with a plug molded into the red plastic that covers the positive terminal on the new battery (break it off).
If you want to purchase some other auto parts (or maintenance items) at Advance Auto Parts, hold off until this transaction is completed, because Advance Auto Parts will probably send you some more discount coupons after you purchase the battery.
I hope you didn't get a Braille racing battery. Those are special lightweight designs that are not as robust as regular batteries.Unfortunately mine had a starting problem 2 years ago so I immediately when to Autozone and spent $160 on their replacement battery.
I frequent races at Road Atlanta and the battery company Braille is ALWAYS there. I wanted to invest in one on my own time not when mine decided to die. LOL The racers user Braille as the go to battery to start all of their cars with no issues.
Check them out: https://www.braillebattery.com/

The one at Advance Auto Parts is the same as the Braille. (I modified my post above after you quoted it).No I got the overpriced Autozone one. Yeah the sales man and my buddy who is a professional driver mentioned they are lightweight and start in an instant. He said they would be ok for non-racing use. I saw a car audio build for a 1st Gen Genny sedan utilizing the braille battery. So far he has had no issues.
