  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Best Genesis Sedan Tires for Hot/Dry conditions

The deal on the Michelins has expired although it will probably come back again soon. I can get $70 off on the Bridgestone Serenity Plus at Costco. The Serenity Plus seems to be almost as highly rated as the Michielin A/S except in snowy conditions which is not a concern of mine.

I don't think you can go wrong with either tire. The Serenity Plus seems to be highly regarded around these parts as well.

Ended up ordering the Bridgestones at Costco.... out the door with the discount and the outrageous California sales tax it came to $738.52

I can't wait to get them installed. Right now my Genesis has 3 of the stock dunlops and the right front tire is a no-name made in China POS. I think ride will improve dramatically.

As suspected the ride has improved dramatically. REALLY loving these tires. Seem to grip well, the wheel seems to be a little bight tighter although you can feel the sidewal flex more in the turns or changing lanes on the highway but overall the handling seems to have actually improved. Haven't driven them in the rain yet but I think they'll be at least as good as the dunlops and probably better.
