  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Best Tire for 2015 Hyundai Genesis AWD 18inch

I have the Pilot Sport tires and I'm on this forum looking for a longer lasting tire. Haven't been happy with the limited tire life of my two sets of Michelins. I live in Texas so the heat may be a problem for the tires.
I'm in Louisiana and also deal with the heat. I'm looking to replace my tires as well. I'm not really looking for a performance tire with the 3.8, just something decent with a quiet ride. I've been looking at these. https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tire...r=2015&autoModel=Genesis Sedan&autoModClar=V6

The reviews are great. Tire rack did a test on these with 3 other all-seasons and they came out on top. Great price too!

Take a look at the Yokohama YK740. I ran a set on my G37 and also on the QX50 and they've been great. Discount Tire sells them, and usually has them in stock.

Goodyear Eagle Sport all seasons is currently treating me well. Has the grip, quiet ride, and long lasting tread. Riding them currently in south Texas.

Ahhh.. scratch that. The YK740 is not available in 245/45-18. Darn!

When the day comes, I'll probably stick to the stock Michelin Primacy.

I live in Canada. Currently I am using Michelin X-Ice 3 for Winter and they are very good. I need a new set of All Season Tires. I have heard the Michelin PRIMACY MXM4 causes vibration. Usually I like Michelin but I don't want to take any chances with steering vibration. I need some recommendation.

Please help me with some links at Tire Rack or some names. I need best All Season for daily driving and highway quiet ride and comfortable ride. Also, there are too many RIMs out there and not sure what is the best? Should I try to buy the lightest RIM (like 16 to 19lb).

I have Goodyear Eagle RS-A's (245/45/R18). They have been a good tire. Very quiet and they have lasted 30k miles. Dealership put them on when I bought it. In my opinion, they still have a good 15k miles before I have to replace them. What I found puzzling is that they only have a 260 UTQG. That's almost summer tire ratings. With a compound this soft, they would wear much quicker than they are. The thing is, they aren't soft and I have had NO issues with rain, snow, or ice, even in the cold and snowy South Dakota region. I rotate them every oil change (4k miles). It must be a typo because 260 doesn't fit the type of tire it is. I recommend them and I'll me putting another set on when I replace the current tires. $600 per set isn't bad either.

Can't go wrong with Pirelli P7 Cinturato All Season Plus. Mine are at ~14k miles on it, super quiet, soft and comfy. Thread looks brand new and there is no cupping. Previously had Michelin Primacy that lasted 12k miles until I got them replaced due to very loud noise and bad cupping on all 4 even they were rotated every oil change at 5k miles.

That doesn't sound good... did you get an alignment when you put on the Pirelli's?

I'm expecting my factory Primacy's to go much longer than that.
