  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

BH 2009 3.8L Sedan Let the Fun Begins

I've been driving for 3 days with Throttle Body coolant bypass ... I definetly #recommend it, at least surely for my 2009 V6 BH. You can try it guys and see it yourself, it's totally free, simple & reversable in case you don't like it or don't notice a change.
Forget about 1 or 100hp power gains and such .. but there is a clear noticable performance pump at lower end (1k-3k rpm) & enhanced throttle response. Think of those first 1-2 minutes of a cold day morning startup performance ... lasting for all day.

Hydrogen pulses #Carbon_Cleaning.
I gave it a try, a worthy $40 πŸ‘

Ignoring the measures they do of before vs after engine running noise & emmissions to verify results, throttle feel alone worthed it.

If available in your area & your car has over 20k miles, I do recommend.

Dyno tested (MustangDyno), post Throttle Body Coolant Bypass & engine Carbon Cleaning,

Top end gained +5rwhp, maxed at 258whp. But higher gain results appearant in lower-mid rpm range ... TORQUE 🀩

was re-doing windows tint this morning (for a tid darker shade) ... and I thought to throw a light smoke on taillights over the redout.

πŸ‘‡ not the best shot, but gets the idea.

Putting 2" test pipes at Secondary Cats location , makes a Happy Me :)

Cabine noise : absolutely stock in idle/cruise (NO Drone) and a bit of performance sound "feeler" when you step on it.
Outside sound: idle or below 1500rpm won't notice the diffetence, but added some growle at higher rpm.
Performance: me smiles vroom vroom πŸ™‚
(dynoed good sh*t)

You are gonna love it! I got the sprint booster but it acts the same way. It makes driving the car more fun.

Unfortunatly, having received a no-fit kit, they don't have stock of wiring kit to match car.

Thumps up to BurgerTuning (BMS) πŸ‘ for smooth cancellation & refund.

@5.0KDM :
How is your experience with sprintbooster? any cel/issues? how long you had it on? πŸ€”πŸ™

BMS politly refunded me, and said they don't have in stock for our cars right now .. so I'm back to looking at options

I love it! It has been on there for more than 6 months no cels or anything. I like it bc it's small. The way they designed it is pretty neat as well. The unit itself is nicely wired into the harness they give you so it lives by your pedal. It comes with a tiny wired remote you can mount using Velcro. It's set it and forget it. It remembers your last setting so you can even unplug the remote. It'll start the car in the last mode you had it on. It also has valet and a total lock out mode. The lock out mode is cool. It acts like a kill switch for the throttle so even if a thief can get your car started it'll cut signal from the gas pedal until you put in a password. It'll come in handy if you have to park somewhere shady. I also like it bc it only has 2 modes a green light appears for the less aggressive one and red light appears for aggressive one. It has 9 sensitivity levels for fine tuning with in each of those 2 settings I mentioned. I can have the green set at 9 and the red set at 5 and the booster remembers it when I switch inbetween. It also has a off mode. @carguy75 posted a lot of info on how it works on here I'll link it below. I'll also link a YouTube video on it too. It's a different brand but works the same way.

Thanks for detailed feed.
I think ... Sprint Booster it will be.

In quest for tune ...
Working with pro local tuner shop on this ecu ... so far the guys could read & write the ecu ... now working on how to compile/edit ... I'm hopeful, these guys are best in here πŸ™ƒ

I had contacted BTR before for their BH3.8 tune, but for being at international destination, tune+ecu unit+shipping was coming too much of a cost.

DO THEY HAVE TO OPEN UP THE ECU OR IS IT THRU THE OBD2 PORT

Tried new ecu map today ... partial throttle response $ street driving improved significantly πŸ’― .

But WOT Dyno results didn't show gains per expectations. Took result power curve to study tweeks in a next re-map attempt.
