  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I read of different things that can be done to gain horse power in the Genesis
but I would like to see them all in one place to make some decisions.
Thanks

Are you talking hypothetically or from what is available. A tune would be the biggest bang for the buck that I can think of, but nobody does it for the sedan yet.

Bradyb has this on all his posts:

"409+ HP. Black Opal/Blk Leather, BORLA prototype CAT-Back dual exhaust, K/N Filter, restriction plate elimination, ESC-Kill, and tint Mods to Come-->> black-out gen badges."

I am assuming he started with 375 like everyone else

Not sure where brady gets his numbers, I think the exhaust was supposed to net about 25hp @ $900ish. Perhaps he claims the k&n filter nets him an additional 9hp? The filter is $30-$40, I think. In that regard the filter is much better for cost/hp, however you may not see gains when just replacing the filter or exhaust.

with 17% allowed for gain, from the loss of automatic drive line, given the whp dyno numbers from the cat back and other goodies im looking at about 416 crank hp either way its real fast!:D

What good is it when it's got a real long delay at WOT (wide open throttle) in the traffic?

:welcome:
