  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

bilstein BTC purchase from Korea

Thanks for feedback all. I am a huge fan of the Big Bs... Used them on so many cars and trucks I have. I have non R-Spec TAU V8, 2012. They might help a bit. I experience more initial lean allowed with the Sachs. Especially with the base model 2012 I drove for a few months (rental from Hertz I fell in love with so, got the V8).

As a FYI... I really enjoy the forum. So many great folks in here. Especially compared with some of the other auto forums.

it's rear spring adjustable and bilstein.kr tuned for genesis sedan, I set the normal height for my car because I just want to improve the ride.

update that front and rear spring both could be adjust:D

update report:
just reture from the dealer, have done 24000KM maintenance, my 2 front tires pressure are 3.3, just reduce to 2.3, it's really great. I have do a lot of modified on my car include:
2 front light replace to 2012
2 rear light replace to 2012
replace rear licence frame
replace stock wing airbag mark
replace 4 tires with Continental cpc2
front grille to prada
add front camera
replace 4 brake hose to Earl's
bilstein btc coilover
I don't recommend anything of these parts but bilstein I will perfer to recommend to whom want a luxury and sport ride, it match the design of hyudai genesis.

I will try to add below:
rigid collar
mando 4p with 345mm disc
r-spec rear stabilizer

I will keep this car for a long time because I love it more and more :)

Thanks for the update peter 302...The prada grill has a front camera. Can you see images from the front camera on the NAV screen? If yes, do the images appear automatically? Do front camera images appear after pressing a certain button?

Yes, the front images could be display on the NAV depend the condition as below:

1. speed lower than 10KM/H
2. the button of the front camera is "ON"

but I'm not recommend this item because I can not judge the distance as clear as rear camera, and when the car is move, I feel vertigo when I see the LCD:(

I found new released 2013 hyundai genesis dynamic edition from Korean have replaced rear brake and disc

1. brake cover is made of aluminum for loose weight
2. replace solid disc to ventilated

How much is a set of these? Or if the US can even get them.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Looks like a busy weekend for me: bilsteins, swaybar, link bushings, cat deletes , Magnaflow , CAI.

Better get started :) ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371910380.934064.webp

First off- immediate fail. No way to take the front strut top mounts off even with a spring compressor. Balls!

Thought about doing the exhaust: front of car too low with the megans on to
mount the rhino ramps:

Plan B. have speed shop do it😁

Re the sway bars. I saw an eBay vendor selling Korean made tuner gear for Kia and Hyundai. Although they didn't list the genesis sedan I emailed them and they relied that indeed they had them. I asked three separate emails if they were for the sedan and NOT the coupe (which has plentiful aftermarket parts). They assured
Me they were for the sedan specifically

The brand is neotech. I've attached a photo of the eBay purchase info. You can find the vendor on eBay and inquire if you want. They were pricey but it's the only one I've ever seenImageUploadedByTapatalk1371931583.524120.webp

How much did it cost for the Bilstein shocks....?

It was about $21-2200 with shipping. EMS express air took 4 days. I think. I had the struts within a week of sending payment to Peter with PayPal

Ps. Don't use PayPal. Fees were atrocious. Moneygram would have been much cheaper.

Did you ever get the NeoT sway bars on? If so, how do they ride?

Where can I order these from?

I ordered them from Peter on this forum. He has the Korean parts connection as he is always tweaking his genny.

Oh cool thanks I'll probably do that after the other money pit is done.

How do you like the btc vs stock suspension? Im looking for about stock like ride and just a tad lowered.

Haven't installed mine yet so can't answer. Search and read all peters posts and check his photos. He is the only one who can provide bilstein feedback

I read the thread and Peters english is very good but there are some parts I can't grasp so that is why I would like more review, things like initial compression, rebound, transitional movements etc...

I'll wait till you have yours done and see how you like it. If anything I would imagine this is close to a eibach and koni setup where you get most of the control from rebound of the shock.
