black on black interior????

I saw a 3.8 w/tech on a dealer lot that had a black interior with BLACK leather dash and door inlays. The car got sold and now no dealer in the area, including the one where I saw it can tell me how to get the black and black interior. They say that ALL black interiors come with the saddle inlays.

Any answers out there?????????????? I want a 4.6 with black ext.,black int. and black inlays. Does it exist?????

FWIW, I just asked my local fleet manager, and he said all Black interiors BEFORE a certain MFG date (I think 10/08) were SADDLE, and all black AFTER that date are BLACK for the inlays.

That is also what I was told at an auto show. Original inlays were saddle [mine], and after about September they switched to black for the 3.8. It is my understanding, however, that the 4.6 has aways been black.

Wow, I am glad I bought mine when I did - my interior is black with the saddle color dash and I really like it. I think that the saddle makes a good accent color. I wonder why they changed this.

I just picked up my 4.6 with a black leather inlay on the dash and the area on the console and armrest that normally has a wood looking trim seems to be either black laquor or a ebony looking wood. All the other models I looked at had some type of lighter wood color. Any one else have the same?

I picked my Black/black V8 w/tech on Wednesday and it had black leather inlays and wooden trim.

Sounds like it's a crapshoot as to what comes out of the factory.

The picture is not the greatest but you can see the black/ebony look.

The leather insert is actually black but the camera gives it a slight brown hue.

My dealership said that the black replacement of the saddle color was done at the dealership, NOT at Hyundai... Who can dealerships call to get the facts? If I buy one, I want the ALL black interior... What else was changed along with this at the later production date?
