Mine had to be sent out, but technically I wasn't even supposed to know. I was checking in to see when my part would be delivered and they told me it was shipped to California for programming, and that they were planning to call me and set up an appointment when it was delivered back to the dealership. Once they set up the appointment, it only took 1.5 days for the install. My replacement seems to be working. FYI, I was initially told that the replacement would be a multi-day process, cluster needed to be sent out for programming, etc...but I pushed back that a forum member said a tech came to his house and did the whole job in a few hours. Turns out that the GV80 (or some other model) had a widespread cluster issue and those clusters did need to be sent out for programming, so my dealer just assumed it was the same for the GV60. BUT the GV60 could be programmed in house with the use of connected services. No need to send off site. They only found that out because I pressed the issue.
Unfortunately though, the replacement isn't working for me. I picked up the vehicle yesterday and walked out to see the blank screen again when I attempted to start it this afternoon.
