  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Blank Instrument Cluster

I immediately got rid of my GV60 that was having the issue after the dealer attempted a 3rd screen replacement, and they completely damaged the dash trim in the vehicle during the process. I moved on to an Audi Q8 etron for the sake of my mental health and completely forgot about this era until I got a message notification yesterday. I think cold temperature was hypothesized because the issue started to manifest right after the OTA update that came out in October, coinciding with the arrival of colder weather. Considering no one experienced this issue in prior winters, a pure software bug introduced by the October OTA update seems most likely the cause.

holy crap. my dealer got me two new clusters (the first only read in kilometers, inexplicably, and they couldn't change it) and paid for nearly two months of loaner service...and it was a software issue all along?! yikes.

another data point for loving my car, and not loving the service/communication. yikes.
