Hey guys - I really appreciate any information or direction you might be able to provide me!
About 8 months ago the stock Lexicon subwoofer in the trunk blew. It is still noticeable to this day, and it is really obnoxious during some songs where it just rattles the entire car. Not sure how it blew, but I was wondering if any of you have any experience removing the blown subwoofer in your genesis?
I looked on some other forum posts and it seems as though the entire back seat must be removed in order to gain access to the sub? Not sure if this is correct or not!
Also, do any of you have a suggestion as to a replacement sub? I went to the hyundai dealership and they wanted over $500 just for a new one! I almost shit a brick when they told me that. Guess I should have bought the extended bumper to bumper warranty..
Any info would be greatly appreciated!!
Edit: It is a 2011 Genesis sedan with all the options available at the time.
