Bluetooth for playing my musics?!

Hi. When i connect my iphone5 to my genny via bluetooth i can only make calls but i cant play my musics or videos in my iphone!!! How i can play my musics in my genny via bluetooth connection? Can any one help i will appreciate any reply thanks..
 
Did you mean to post this question in the audio/Bluetooth/electronics forum here? I'm sure you will find an answer over there.

What year and option packages do you have? (Hint: put it in your signature so you never have to remember to put it in each post.)

Thanks. Well its 2012 and all packages! Iam able to connect my phone to genny but dunno how to play my music files, i tried alot but couldnt!
 
Nope, you are stuck, like me. In the 2012 and earlier, you can stream music over Bluetooth in the lower two option packages, but not the Tech package. With 2013, you can stream music in all packages.

You can get a BT streaming adapter and connect it to the aux port. A number of folks here have done that. I did this in our Odyssey, and I am planning to do that in my Genesis. It works very well.

If you use the iPod cable, you can play your music that way. Probably better sound quality too. It cost $35 from your dealer but I bought 2 from eBay for around $10/ea shipped.
