  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

When I play an MP3 (on a CD) in the car, it sounds great. When I bluetooth the phone and play the same MP3, it doesn't sound nearly as good (tinny and weak). Is this an issue with bluetooth in general or is it a "crummy" phone for music playback. (samsung s3)

How does the phone sound when you connect it via the aux port?

I have a 2012 Tech, so I do not have Hyundai's BT streaming. However, I installed an aftermarket BT receiver, and I thought the quality was mediocre. But, that could have been the receiver. When I upgraded to an AirPlay receiver device, the sound became awesome. I chalked it off to the compression inherent in BT streaming profiles.

^^ Good to know. Thanks.

Check the sound settings and volume control on your phone - those will affect how it sounds via BT.

Yes, set smartphone volume to max. My BT streaming sounds wunderbar!
