  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello to G80 owners.
How is it going out there.

Quick question - how do you set your Bluetooth connected device to have priority over another device connected by Apple Car Play.

I have both an Android and Apple phone.
I connect the Apple device to the car via Apple Car play (cabled) to use Spotify and Google maps.
I have the Android device (my personal mobile phone) connected via Bluetooth, I want to use this to answer calls.

When I receive calls on the Android device it does not connect to the phone.
It seems Apple Car play disconnects Bluetooth devices and is unable to work side-by-side.

Any way to set this up to have both connected and for callls to come in through the Android device, while Apple Car play continues to function?

Thanks.

The only insight I can provide is that when I get in the car and start it, prior to plugging in the hard wire for Apple Car Play, the phone connects via Bluetooth but as soon as I plug it in, it says on the screen it is disconnecting Bluetooth. Based on this I feel it is one or the other. I see why the functionality you describe is desirable though. Good luck!
