  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone else having issues with a slow link up with their bluetooth. When I get in the car I cannot use the phone for at least 4 min while the transfer of my phonebook takes place. Seems really odd to me.

Since I purchased my Sedan on January 10th, I only had slow bluetooth connect one time, and that time, it, like you, took about four minutes. (again, only once)

Your Coupe bluetooth may or may not be the same.

I have had slow response also. I have hung up on incoming calls 2-3 times because when the bluetooth said "incoming call" I tried to pushed button and there was no response. I found that I have to wait about 10 seconds or so before I get the person on line. Not four minutes but still bothersome to say the least.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
The issue seems to be the transfer of the phonebook to the cars system. If I try to use the phone in the first few minutes I am in the car the display on the car says "transferring". After about 4 -6 minutes the the car anounces "transfer complete". Seems like I would be able to change settings to only transfer when I tell it to transfer.

So I ask the question: Can you other coupe owners jump in the car and make a blue tooth call right away with out the delay?

Does your Coupe announce audibly "transfer complete"?

Thanks in advance.

Admin, Sorry I posted this in the wrong spot originally.

I must be completely illiterate or something. I read the bluetooth instructions when I got my Genesis in July and there was nothing about transferring the phonebook off my blackberry. I had to manually enter about ten numbers I use often, but that was it. Plus, whenever I sue it is asks me repeated questions about "home, office or mobile", and "is this correct".I find it awkward to use.

The Genesis sedan with integrated Bluetooth does not support phonebook transfer. The Coupe has a different system.
