  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

A small, easy DIY mod from Burger Motorsports for unlimited burnouts or a boosted launch. Others may have posted about it before but I'm too lazy to search. This mod originally involved cutting the black/green wire going to the ECU and installing a switch. When turned off, it allows you to build boost while your foot is on the brake. Someone else found that you can use a fuse Socket Connector and switch to turn off that fuse. No wire cutting involved and you can mount inside the cabin.

I wanted something fancier and found a switch I liked better. Buy it here. They have multiple metal colors and led combinations. Just make sure it is NC, ON-OFF, and 12VDC.

Here is the wiring:

And finished product

You'll need a ground unlike a regular switch.

Here is a video in action. It does turn off traction control.

how hard is this to do?? drilling for the switch?

Very easy. The other posts I've seen people used the fuse door so it can be easily removed and replaced.

Can you do this on the 2.0t G70 6 speed?

I'm sure you could. Pull the fuse and see. If it works, then put on the switch.
