Borla exhaust question

Hey guys,

I hope this isn't a dumb question! I called Borla today and they said the exhaust for the 4.6 won't fit the Rspec. He didn't know why either lol. Is this true?

They're probably talking about the tips (since '12 and up have integrated exhaust tips). From what I gathered from other members here, cutting off the tips would make it fit (if you wanted to butcher it).
 
yeah i was planning to anyway, but i know sometimes flanges could be different or hangers etc, i didn't know why it wouldn't since both v8.
