When I had car in for other issues, service writer advised there is a brake fluid recall. Started with Equus and now moving to Genesis

Old news. Very old news.

It is actually labeled as a mandatory TSB instead of a recall. They only do it if you bring your car in for some reason, they don't notify you.

We had our 2012 3.8 in at the shop (actually had to by flat trucked) due to the battery was dead (wife hasn't driven it in prob 2+ months). They replaced battery under warranty and replaced the brake fluid while it was there. They are replacing the fluid with a higher boiling point fluid.

Using DOT-4 instead of DOT-3.
