  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Oh and BTW, I was at the auto show myself and there were blue stains on the tan Genesis seats as well.

People notice things like this and talk about it. They need to fix this very minor, but obvious issue.

I noticed this at the auto shows with the Kia K900 - which is an AWESOME fullsize luxury sedan - but it had the same problem. Then again, a LOT of people are getting in and out at these types of events... Still, you don't see that happen in other makes and models... I wonder...

I seen this same issue happen on a new Porsche and BMW that was there too. It seems it's a problem on that white color leather and those darker dyes. I would hate to tell people who get in the car "you can't wear any jeans!" Lol that was the thing I began to check on all other models to see if there were a pattern. And surely it was on various auto makers.

That's good to know. I must have missed it.

Does anyone know if Leather conditioner will protect the seats from getting stained in the first place?

Leather Conditioner will help keep the leather supple and provide the oils it needs. It will not however protect against blue jean stains.

These are the main reasons why I always opt for the Black Interior.:)
