  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Don't rely on those numbers in app, they aren't accurate and are off +/- up to half a second.
If I recall correctly, there was a rework of the code for calculating it on the newer version of the app. Should be closer now than it was before.

I'll have some free time next week to run 0-60's using BOOSTane instead of E85 mixture, I also have a Dragy, so I'll use them both and compare.

Couple of runs this morning and same result.

Now I have a high pitch buzz/whine coming from the rear of vehicle. Driving at 50-80 is louder than 30-40. Stops when you lift of the throttle.

Fuel pump maybe? If it continues I’ll get it to the dealer.

Next weekend I’ll be driving to Malibu California from Vegas. It’s pretty close to the burger motorsports shop it looks like. I might just swing by and pick up a draggy while I’m in down there

For everyone using fuel wires on the 3.3 what kind of adjustments have you made to your fuel bias settings? The stinger forums had a little info on it but not able to find any super detailed info being in not a member on that forum

None. I don't mess with any settings.

None for regular use. But if tracking, you want your lower and top rpm to be slightly richer so you your engine is cooler and more protected.
The last firmware already defaulted to 0.25 richer I believe!

Weird, went out and washed the car and went for a test drive and no noise. Hope it was just a one off thing.

Fuel pump will have more of a rattle in a tin can kinda sound.

It was a high pitched kind of whine. Oh well it’s gone now and if the car gods prevail it will never return.

That sounds like the drive shaft bearing!

I ripped off a 0-65 Mph run this morning, and sent off the log file to Terry. He said things looked fine, but he did notice that bit 7 was enabled in the user settings by the previous owner. Bit 7 lowers throttle sensitivity, which was totally counterproductive for me as I have a BMS pedal tuner to increase throttle sensitivity. I had noticed the difference in pedal feel since installing the JB4, and had picked a higher setting on my pedal tuner to compensate.

I am starting to think that there was possibly nothing wrong with the way the JB4 was operating initially, it could be a combination of the car not being up to full operating temperatures as I just went for a short test drive initially, along with the decreased pedal feel could have thrown me off as well. I have also noticed that each time I have driven the car since switching to map 2 it's felt noticeably faster than the previous run, so the ecu/JB4 may still be adapting as well. The car felt just ridiculously fast on my drive to work tonight, so I am going to have to show some restraint if I intend to hang onto my driver's license for any amount of time. ;)

Bit 7 doesn't really lower the throttle sensitivity. It reduces the boost ramp up when not flooring it. It gives you a linear pedal feel rather than an instant surge and jerky feeling off boost kicking in and off.
Flooring for 0-60 runs are not affected since it has nothing to do with WOT.
You're probably just feeling the adaptation. I know it has been mentioned that your ECU adapts after a couple of WOT runs, however that is not always true. It took a while for me cause I was very gentle with the throttle in most cases before the JB4.

That bit7 explanation makes sense, I thought the boost buildup felt kind of weird after disabling that bit. I could feel what felt like boost "surges" at partial throttle application on the first drive after turning the bit off.

Yup cause you're jumping 5psi on Map2 more than stock boost. That's 5psi x2 on each turbo.
The v10 firmware also fixes wastegate oscillation issues with Bit7 On.

How do you read the firmware version? My log file shows 21/10//5 for firmware version.
