  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Damn you guys.

Looks like WMI is in my future. Boostane and the likes are too expensive for me.

Probs gonna try just water first, and if it's not as much power as I want then I'll do Boost Juice.
I’ll be within an hour of burger motorsports Friday afternoon and it will be very hard to not roll over and pick up the wmi kit lol 😂

This is the difference between Dragy and JB4 app, running 0-60 ....I wasn't really pushing, I just wanted to see how "off" it was, then the cop showed up and I had to leave :D

Only slightly improved over how it was before.
Wonder if the iOS version is any better!

So...how is your car running with the booster? Feel quicker?

I didn't get a chance yet to push it hard, but so far, I don't see the difference running on E85 mixture vs. boostane. The car pulls hard on either fuel. Putting on dyno would let us see if using boostane gives more power, I dunno.

If you’re at the same octane...then yeah...no difference.

I thought you went higher with the BOOSTane.

You have the 4 cylinder?

Not this is slow by any means, but I've yet to see a stock car come anywhere close to the published 0-60 time for this car (3.3TT). Let alone one running the JB4 with high octane.

He has the G80 Sport 3.3T...which is the identical engine to the G70 3.3T. Car is generally 0.5 seconds slower.

According to online calculator, I was at 97-98 octane on E85+93 and 99 octane on 93+boostane.

This is my best run so far ;)

Weird yours doesn’t have the DA information temperature or altitude like mine does was going to compare it

You know.....I haven't used Dragy since April and I noticed today, that it shows temp/alt in left/right upper corners!

That's a big difference. Does it go both ways in terms of being out? IE: Can draggy show faster?

I'll check it out in a few days when I get back, as I'm going to a Race Track event in Wisconsin, tomorrow morning.

So I got my boostane pro in today. 8 oz per tank will get me a 97 octane rating. Nv only has 91 for a high or we go race gas lol.

So, I have a potentially dumb question here - If I am going to run only the base Map1 with fuel wires, do I still need to hook up the OBD cable? And does the OBD cable need to be plugged into the port all of the time, or is it only for the diagnostics and for fine tuning the map?
I haven't bought the JB4 yet, but if I do I'd like to keep the install to a minimum so that I can remove it as easily as possible.

I don’t believe the fuel wires work with map 1. To my knowledge you can just get the jb4 with no Bluetooth and it automatically puts you on map 1 which you can use on the car stock. I didn’t mean notice map1 being much faster than stock though

You don’t need OBDII for Map 1.

Fuel wires are for Map 2 and up.

Green line is Map1 with fuel control wires connected, isn't it?
