  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

That is the apps default, I have not modified any of the settings besides which map I am using.
It shouldn’t be. Default is 20. Check the n54tech page

Weird... It says default value 24 right in the app.

That’s the highest it will read to on that gauge unless you change it. So hypothetically if you are running 30 psi or will only read 24 Best bet would be just go into user adjustments and change the safety to 20 for safety sake

Ah, thank you for noting this, I will adjust it. :)

I change my safety to 22 but only when I run map7. Otherwise it’s always 20 lol

What all is required for map3?

Either run octane booster, race gas, or an e85 blend to make a 30 percent mix. My car prefers the e85 blend. Tried the octane booster and to me it runs stronger with e85. Which isn’t a surprise since the ethanol actually helps keep the temps down. If 100 octane race gas wasn’t 8$ a gallon I’d strictly run that but that is A dream and will never happen haha

That's exactly what I noticed using boostane, even with ~99 octane running Map 5, I can't get below 5 sec. 0 to 60
Once my supplies are gone (3 more cans) I'm switching back to e85+93

So far my car has pulled crazy hard on map 7 with 100 octane in it. Once I get a couple parts to help support the chassis a little better I think I’m going to try map 5 with 100 octane mixed with e85. Get the best of both worlds. The ethanol won’t raise the octane much but it will work wonders keeping the engine cool and happy

Is anyone having their trims go way out of wack after the newest update?

Hi Guys,
Appreciate this forum very much. Can someone point me to a thread with E85 Mix calcs and ratio's? Thought I saw a thread with a link to an app, but haven't been able to relocate it. Many thanks.

BTW - JB4 arrives TODAY! May have to wait a few weeks to install as I'm getting Married on Sunday! Can't afford to get distracted with the G70 fun right now. It sure will make for one Heck of a Honeymoon "LAUNCH" if I do manage to get it installed. ;)🏎🏁💯

Well, I got the car Dyno'd, and the results aren't too bad, the car had 15 minute cool downs between each run. The Ambient temperature was 91F and Humidity was 55-60%. It seems each run got progressively worse, not sure what to make of that, but the first run looks good. The guys at the shop haven't tested a G70 or stinger yet and I asked them what they thought the numbers would be. Their guess was 280hp and 300ish ft lbs at the wheels. They were quite floored at the results of the first pull.

Specs:
G70 3.3 RWD
93 Octane from Shell
JB4 - Map2
BMS Intakes
Denso Spark Plugs gapped to .022

Nice...what octane?

93 Octane from Shell.
do you have a baseline run on map 0 so we can see what kind of gains you achieved? or did you only do runs on map2?

I only did them on map 2. I was really only curious to see how much total hp the car is producing. Not the exact numbers claimed by bms, but it was a very hot morning with decent humidity. I am going to do more runs in December when it is cooler and less humid out.

Yea it was hot, that would definitely make you down on power and exacerbate the heat soak issue you were seeing. Plus every dyno/dyno operator is different so without knowing what your baseline number is then you cant really know how much more power you were adding, or if you are getting close to what bms claims you should. The numbers look nice though, and are ballpark close enough that it seems like the jb4 is doing its job
