  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Honestly I've never noticed it.
I have the fog switch on the left stalk to on and headlights on and no fogs.
I've tried every headlight setting and none cause the fogs to turn on.

What am I doing wrong?

Yeah weird.
I don't see a specific fuse for the fogs. Thought maybe that was it.

The fog lights come on only when the headlights and ignition are on. Do you see the green fog light indicator in the dash's center display when you toggle the switch?

Yup I see the green light on the dash and engine is started

Either two bad bulbs, a faulty connection, or blown fuse.. Let the dealer sort it out regardless.

Just trying to identify the obvious reasons why they might not turn on.

Thanks everyone.

Hi, a very basic thought, make sure your headlights are NOT ON High Beam..
On high the fog lights are auto turned Off..

You should see two green light symbols in the instrument cluster. Do you see two? Did you turn on the fog light switch located closer to the steering wheel on the left stalk?

Yes two symbols. One is definitely fogs and to other post no, I don't have high beams on.

Next Stop -> Dealership!
Could possibly be the wiring loom needs connecting!

Yup but sadly getting car to dealer is just a serious inconvenience.

I'll be climbing under the car tomorrow night after work to check things out then if necessary a trip to the dealer on Saturday.

How about trying disconnecting your battery for an hour or so, and then reconnecting it? A computer reset might bring them back.

This sounds oddly similar to my 2012 DRLs currently not lighting up.

In my case, I don't mind it ... but I have been contemplating a computer reset to see if it brings them back.

Disconnected battery and still no fogs. I'll check underneath tonight.

Thanks everyone for the ideas.

Ok so I ran outside and pulled down the underbody plastic. Guess what I saw....

Both fog light unplugged. Plugged em back in and success.

I wonder what other things are unplugged that I haven't found yet. :)

I have a 2009 Hyundai Genesis 4.6 with led fog lights but hit a dog on driver side. Have no clue to fix the wiring on the fog light ?
