Cannot get dealer to diagnose/fix smart trunk malfunction. Drove 60 miles one way for appointment to get smart trunk fixed. First they said I didn't have the smart trunk feature. After I proved that it did have smart trunk, they said they would have to look up TSB's for it and they would call. Now no answer from followup emails. My visit wasNovember 26, 2019. Why couldn't they look for TSB while I was there! Make me drive home and then never followup!! And ignore my emails.!
I should mention they sold this car new as Hyundai dealer. They are still Hyundai dealer but not Genesis dealer now. However they told me twice that they would still do warranty work.
I guess Genesis might not like paying a Hyundai dealer for warranty work, but seems like poor business.
I will have to just live without smart trunk. Scared to drive 95 miles one way to Genesis dealer and maybe be told same thing.
