So I need some major help. My 2015 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 is at the dealer and they’ve been troubleshooting it for 10 hours with no progress.
The car isn’t recognizing the key fob and starting. It unlocks and locks the car but won’t detect it according to the dashboard. On top of that, the obd2 port isn’t working for them.
We have replaced the fob battery, tried a new battery for the car, jump started it and nothing.
The dealer said they are going through things with Corporate but they don’t have any idea.
Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be?
The car was my DD and never had issues until I parked it for 2 weeks.
Minor notes that might help:
-2 years ago we had a squirrel get into another vehicle in the winter time and destroy some wires during the winter time. I told the tech about that.
-The car was in an accident on the passenger side 4 years ago (before I owned it) and was repaired by a reputable shop.
