If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Gonna change out my rear signals off my 2013 sedan and replace with LEDS. Just wondering what color wire is positive and what's ground? It came with a load resistor oi beelieve and I'm not sure which wire to put it on (positive I'm thinking)$ lmk. Thanks guys

Here's what I'm working with.

No idea how to run this. Plus looks like both wires leading to the bulb are yellow, though I'm assuming the wire with black writing might be ground. Couldn't get my fat fumbly fingers to rotate and pull the stock bulb out

I have changed the rear turn signals to LED bulbs like you have pictured, but the load resistor was built-in, so no BS hookup for install. Problem with those bulbs is they are not bright enough and the sun will wash them out completly at the right angels.

EDIT - Ha! I just noticed that you actually posted on my thread....somehow I missed your posts, before responding to this one! I had load resistors once when I had an Elantra, and I'll never mess with resistors again. Just a PITA. Let us know what you find out or decide to do.

Ok. So I looked up online and it said to run it parallel to the bulb. To bad my bulbs are all shot. Gotta get me some new bulbs now.
Thanks scott for replying back. Its funny cuz when I read. Ur thread, I bought these. Wished I read on about it being washed out in the sunlight.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
So I got my second set of bulbs and still not working. The 2013 genny sedan has the 7507 for the rear turn signal bulbs right? Think ill just go for some chrome tinted amber bulbs already cuz this shet is frustrating

Does the genesis have electronic flasher relay? does it even need load resisters?

What is the pin layout for the stock relay there are after market relays that will work with led if the stock does not.

Yes I realize im bumping a several year old thread but I have wanted to put led turn signals in since I found it only had led brake/tail markers

Well on further searching, through links from this thread even I found my answer, which really sucks why could that FAM be programmable even if you had to take it to the dealer to program it.
