Chicagoland 4.6 V8 needed for tune

Mufflers installed this morning, trying to get the cat deletes from MSA Authority (sloooowwwww in processing orders!). I'll be ready for the chip by the time it gets in. Can't wait!

Thought I was the only one. I also ordered the cat deletes from MSA and it took over 5 weeks to arrive, even after multiple phone calls. Frustrating.

Only one for what? Plenty of folks with MSA's and other mods.

Only 1 for sllllooooowwwwww response from MSA. They did come in today. When I tried to suggest to them that their responses (or lack thereof) were a little lacking, they stated each set is made to order. The car went on the lift and I had them swapped out in about 20 minutes (if that). They are nicely made, however the coating looks quite thin. I like the sound (I have the dynomax VTs) - to me this is a luxury car, not my Cobra - so I like to know there's a V8 without being told each and every 100 RPM. I painted the lower portion of the mufflers that hang below the tips with some old POR 15 I had laying around. Can't wait for the chip.

Any updates on the Chip? I'm enjoying the Dynomax VTs and 2nd cat deletes. Just the right amount of burble.

Mine should arrive sometime this week as it cleared customs in San Francisco today (shipped from Korea).

Yeah man, there is another thread about BTRcc's tune for the 4.6 and 3.8 cars. With the 4.6 there is a nice bump in torque and a host of other improvements (full traction control disable, better throttle maps, etc). I'll report back with results.
