What's the fuse called ?nevermind, found it! so i guess this is the main fuse for the cigarette lighters. ahhh now i can finally charge my phone in the car again. thank you!
I changed my 25 amp under hood on right side of motor but still not working. Do I need to check other fuses?About a week ago both of them just randomly stopped working, but the blue light around the front one still turns on. Does anyone know the location of the fuse for the front and back cigarette lighters and what its called? i looked in all 3 fuse boxes and the owners manual but couldn't find any that could be related. Have any of you blown the cig lighter fuse?
I have a 2010 genesis with this issue and I looked under the hood there is no 25a fuse nor a spot for one to go.The fuse you are looking for is in the fuse box on the right side of the engine compartment towards the front. It is a 25 amp fuse. This fuse provides power to the 15 and 10 amp fuses in the passanger side fuse box. The 15 amp fuse is for the cigarette lighter next to the ash tray and the 10 amp is for the power plug in the storage compartment next to the USB plug.
Wait!!! What was the name of the fuse!!!nevermind, found it! so i guess this is the main fuse for the cigarette lighters. ahhh now i can finally charge my phone in the car again. thank you!
It is the only 25 ampWait!!! What was the name of the fuse!!!
It is the only 25 amp
Make sure you are looking in correct fuse box. If you see spares next to a fuse puller, wrong box. Look on other side right next to windshield washer fluid spout. whew
I forgot that there are 4 fuse box locations, 2 inside the car when you open the door driver/passenger and 2 in the engine bay driver/passenger.Thank you for pointing that out, especially for those of us that don't know are own cars. Thank you
There's no separate blower. There's just the one blower for the HVAC. There are little doors that control where air does and doesn't go. The doors are opened and closed by electric actuators. You defrost actuator has probably failed.....
My windshield blower seems to not work and all else works so for a moment I thought this might be related but that wasn't the case (not sure if there are any other fuses related to this but but its most likely the blower itself or other components as others have responded in other threads).

I have a manual from a user but I still cannot figure out where that part is and how to fix it.....you are correct about just the defrost actuator. When I put the air on the "Front" nothing really blows up but I get air from the 2 side vents and nothing in the center. When I select the Face option I do get air from all 4 vents (nothing on the front/top).There's no separate blower. There's just the one blower for the HVAC. Ummm, yes it doesI guess we are even. The Genesis has no cigar lighter under the arm rest.
Photo please.Ummm, yes it does
I am confirming as well (dont have time for a photo) that my 2012 38 Tech has a Lighter in the front and in the center console/arm rest in the deeper pocket, along with a usb connection in there as well.Photo please.
The cigar lighter is not intended to be used inside the console. That one is a charger port.I am confirming as well (dont have time for a photo) that my 2012 38 Tech has a Lighter in the front and in the center console/arm rest in the deeper pocket, along with a usb connection in there as well.

Okay I get it but all I am saying is that there is a Cig Lighter "Port" in the arm rest as opposed to a traditional Cig Lighter of which there is only 1 in the front.....semantics aside those 2 are interchangeably used unless you are an actual Cig Smoker....The cigar lighter is not intended to be used inside the console. Who would plug a cigar lighter into the 12V port under the armrest?Okay I get it but all I am saying is that there is a Cig Lighter "Port" in the arm rest as opposed to a traditional Cig Lighter of which there is only 1 in the front.....semantics aside those 2 are interchangeably used unless you are an actual Cig Smoker....

this is so absurd.Who would plug a cigar lighter into the 12V port under the armrest?
The vehicle came from the factory with the one and only Cigar lighter in the ash tray, right where it belongs, next to the ashtray.
