  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

CNET: 2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec (pictures)

The article may be new, but that's old news ;)

They should've posted the changes on the 2013, instead!

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I think it's critical, but I honestly think the points they are making are all good points. The 2013 model would address the tech issues, but the fact that Hyundai is still managing to continue to update essentially a 5 year old car before the 2014 refresh is impressive.

I have a hard time taking a magazine seriously when they rate overpriced, underpowered cars higher based on brand-recognition.

CNET aren't the only ones.

True, but Hyundai Engineers do have work to do on the Genny (which I'm hoping they're doing for 2014) and it's better I think to address the issues which might be mentioned.. Then we can go about discrediting bad or biased news articles

No car is perfect... I agree there is always room for improvement.

However, just as there are consumers out there that think our Genesis is a glorified Excel, I believe there auto mag writers out there who think the same thing. They can't get past a $40k Hyundai. Doesn't compute.

Their loss... I like having one of the very few Genesis sedans in the area.

"what type of car is that"
Genesis
"who makes it"
Hyundai
BAM -1 points already.
Dont you want to see how nice it is ?
"It's a hyundai how nice could it be ?"

At least two people i know would not drive a Hyundai just becase of the stigmata
people cant get rid of the roots associated with Hyundai.

Unfortunately for Hyundai that is what quite a few people think. There's a reason why alot of people are REbading their Genesis to remove the Hyundai logos. It's all to differentiate themselves from the Hyundai psychosis ;) Hyundai really needs to concentrate on seperating the genesis/equus from the other hyundai lines.

I'm far from a badge whore but still the replacement logos are in transit.

ppp
