Cool review of the Genesis

I do not own a Genesis, so I wouldn't know. Can you please tell me if the following information from the review is correct?

"Its fine leather seats can be both heated and cooled."

I am under the impression that only the driver's seat is heated/cooled.

I believe only the drivers seat is cooled under the Tech package. There isnt an option for the passenger seat to be cooled from my recollection.

Both are heated (very nicely), driver's is cooled also.

Looks as if they left off a couple of small details with that description of the "fine leather seats"! As mentioned, the driver and passenger seats are heated. The driver only gets cooled seats with the Tech package. In addition, the quality of those "fine leather seats" is different with the V8 version. Plusher leather.

Hyundai is calling it Ultra-Premium leather in the V8. Try the link below to see. Click on the leather preview. And yes, you can tell a difference from the V6 to the V8 leather.

According to the brochure, the Genesis 4.6 gets "Ultra-premium leather seating surfaces".

Sorry, moose66 got to answer before I did.

I am looking into a V8 purchase next year. Being in Texas, it's quite important that the front passenger seat be cooled as well. I don't think my wife will agree to get a car without this feature. She appreciates our present 07 Lexus GS350 with this feature. She loves this car but I hate driving it, coming from a BMW! We'll see what Hyundai does for 2010.
