Yes..that's sad.. It doesn't deserve 5 star, I would rate less (3/5) as it has so many problems... Hope, all the problems will be resolved in the new 2012 Genesis

So you would rather get punched in the face with the air bag deploy going slower than 15mph?
If you actually seen the pic, the car did very well considering it got hit higher than the bumper

BTW 5 star rating is crash rating not reliability/problem rating

Well, the damage estimate was $21,000, so the insurance company will be totaling the car. Waiting to hear what they will offer me. Very few 2009 4.6 w/ technology packages are for sale in the Southern California area, so it will be interesting to see what comps they come up with.

My guess is that you should get around 31,000 to 33,000 based on kbb retail value.

32500!!?!! that's fantastic. hold on to that insurance company. i bought my 2011 4.6 demo for 34k.
