  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Detailing Question for Mr. TJPark, or ...?

I had a set of Continental ContiProContact that lasted into the 90,000mi range. Not even sure if they make them anymore.. I never had a complaint.

yes they do, they are OEM on the base 328i. They seemed fine, my only gripe was that there was a lot of road noise, but that may have just been the car.

Serenitys are a great tire, my dad has them on his LS430- its just that the side wall is so damn ugly.

Just looked at a large pic of them on Tire Rack site! LOL, I see what you mean about the sidewall. :D

I just noticed a new Mercedes E350 in a parking lot yesterday. Sleek look, 19" wheels I believe, but they were sported out with Continental ContiPro Contacts. Would they put a noisy tire on an "E" car? I hope not.

Yawn! With a name like Serenity- sounds like a big plush cruiser tire- not for my Genesis- because I really do not like the look of the tire. I have an extra set of Dunlops 5000M I got off my winter wheels from the DUB guy's GENESIS SEMA car.

Does anyone else in the USA/CAN have these Genesis wheels? See video- first seconds on the BLACK 4.6 TECH. I love them on my Snows.

As I have said before they are OEM on the NEW Mercedes E 350. I noticed this morning on the photo gallery for 2011 Equus that Hyundai has put them on that car as well.

I'm curious as to what it means that they showing them on the high profile CA Equus that gets so much attention?

I'm tempted to get a set for my Genesis.

Yes, I noticed the same thing. :)
They're not what I would call a high end tire. I have had 2 experiences, one is a 328i and another in a E550. Both exhibited a lot of road noise. Now it could just be the cars, but I expected some in the BMW but not really in a 2008 E550. There's nothing wrong with the tires per say, but they seem to be pretty average. Falls under the category: Grand Touring All-Season. It scores in the middle of the pack of those tires.

Thank you again, TJ. You have my attention and I am listening carefully.
