  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

There were some really nice Gen 1 diecast models from Korea out there years ago and I actually bought one. I have scoured the web but there does not seem to be any 2015 models out there. Anybody find one yet?

There are some die cast models somewhere... Hyundai gave them away to some automotive journalists when they had their US launch event.

You can see one in this video from Fast Lane Daily: http://youtu.be/ZRx3PRgkfvA

So this would explain the one which was sold on eBay in June. Must have been a press person who got rid of their gift. Did well, got $202 for it, not bad at all.

+1 here Never thought I'd say this as a girl, but I would TOTALLY go for a model of my new favorite manufactured thing!

Re: Diecast 2015 Genesis Sedan

Have a look at the site I am sure you will be pleased with what you see.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I want one. When someone finds out when they are available in the states, please update this post...

It's $170 without shipping. (185,000 Won)

hello DFWGenny, you are spot on with the price. I have tried to purchase from Minikraft however their site is not user friendly unless you understand Korean.
They certainly have them and if we have a Korean speaking member their hep would be great. I would certainly purchase.

I put the site through google translate, including the purchase page, I don't think they ship internationally. I sent them an email which went unanswered. I think the best bet would be to troll ebay.

Re: Diecast 2015 Genesis Sedan

greeting to all,
Well I finally managed to purchase the 1:18 scale model of the 2015 Hyundai Genesis Sedan, what I did if any members are interested in purchasing this model is as follows.
I went to the Minikraft site which has a translation option although only good to let you see their models available, I then by using the email address did a Google language conversion and sent a message in Korean.
That got me a reply telling me the site is only for domestic buyers but then they gave me the option to purchase and pay via PayPal, all done and I look forward to receiving my model in 2 weeks.
They only have Black or Haze blue available.
I hope this helps any other members searching for this model, it is expensive US$280 but what the heck, I have paid more for other models that I have.
regards and good shopping

Please post up a picture once received.

+++1 here! (And here's hoping/assuming you got the Black as Blue Haze isn't a color we get here ... unless it's a Korean mis-translation of Montecito or Ibiza but it doesn't seem to resemble either ...)

hello everybody, sorry been in hospital all day ticker playing up.
I'm not surprised at all the interest in the model and sure it's a bit expensive but what the heck I wanted it so I paid the price.
The black model pictured in the earlier post is available on ebay, that model car never got released in Australia it looks like an upgrade of the Grandeur to me.
I will post some photos of the model when I receive it and it will be my Genesis until Hyundai drop their price here which I am sure will happen I think they will have a battle to get $62k and $82k when you have Mercedes, BMW and Audi in those price ranges.
regards everyone happy motoring.
