Hey guys. This is my first post but I've been following the forum for a while now. I apologize if my question has been discussed before. If it has, please provide the link.
I just ordered my wing emblem airbag from Korenautoimports.com I've just noticed that there seems to be quite a few variations amongst emblems. Does anyone know why and which one is authentic? Below you will find 3 photos, all with slight variations to the emblem.
Photo 1) Shows a silver emblem with smoother wings than the other two. The wings are also not pointy.
Photo 2) Seems to be the most "authentic" as it looks like most badges that I've seen and matches the ones I have on my trunk and hood. It's chrome, pointy wings and has a silver "Genesis" lettering with a black background behind the "Genesis" lettering.
Photo 3) Is the airbag I've just received. Like photo 2, it's chrome with the pointy wings, but the "Genesis" lettering is black, not silver and doesn't have the black backing behind the lettering. Plus the "blue" center seems to be more of an "aqua" Did I get an authentic version or a knock off? Maybe Hyundai has changed their logo? Thoughts?
